Jamy Lopez, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamy is a Registered Dental Hygienist that graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College with an associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. Jamy joined Smile Brite in 2016. Jamy strives to help people improve their dental knowledge and home care.

In her free time, Jamy likes to attend concerts, travel, hiking, and watch movies.

Ernesto Fierro, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

Nesto joined our dental team in 2020 after graduating from Del Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. He was born in Mexico City and moved to Wilmington DE in 1999. Ernesto is passionate about his role as a dental health educator and strives to provide his patients with a positive dental hygiene experience in a relaxed, comfortable, and professional environment. He enjoys getting to know his patients and help them work through any fears, anxiety, or concerns to not only maintain a healthy smile but to also boost their self-esteem and confidence.
In his free time, Ernesto loves to listen to live music, likes to take trips down memory lane, likes to be other people’s personal photographer/disco jockey, loves to hang out and spend quality time with his fiancée and their 3 cats.

You will always be in good hands when seeing Ernesto at our office.

Denaja Boyd-Chambers, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

Denaja, better known as “DJ,” graduated with honors from Delaware Technical Community College in 2022, earning her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene.

My passion is helping my patients feel confident in their smiles while making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I love creating a welcoming environment in my operatory—better known as DJ’s Cozy Corner—where patients can relax, share a few laughs, and leave feeling at ease.

Outside of the office, I enjoy expressing my creativity through DIY projects, building LEGO sets, decorating spaces, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. Whether I’m caring for patients or working on a new project, I strive to bring compassion, positivity, a gentle touch, and creativity to everything I do. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive impact on those around me.

Kendra Jones, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist & Social Media and Marketing Director

Kendra has proudly been a part of the Smile Brite Dental Care family since 2013. She graduated with honors from Delaware Technical Community College, earning her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. Upon graduation, she received the Top Clinician Award, recognizing her exceptional clinical skills, compassionate patient care, and dedication to promoting lifelong oral health.

For Kendra, dentistry is about so much more than clean teeth—it’s about building lasting relationships and helping people feel confident every time they smile.

“One of my favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to know my patients and watching their confidence grow. Whether it’s helping someone overcome dental anxiety or celebrating a healthier smile, those connections are what make this career so rewarding.”

Known for her warm personality and gentle touch, Kendra has a way of making patients feel right at home from the moment they walk through the door. She believes every visit should be comfortable, educational, and maybe even include a few laughs along the way. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling informed, cared for, and smiling a little brighter than when they arrived.

When she’s not at Smile Brite, Kendra enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, and creating fun, engaging content as the practice’s Social Media and Marketing Director.

Brittany Stokes

Lead Dental Assistant

Brittany—better known as Britt—has been a valued part of our team for over 12 years, bringing experience, compassion, and a calming presence to every patient visit. As a dedicated dental assistant, she’s especially passionate about helping anxious and nervous patients feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their dental experience. Her goal is simple: to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and cared for.

Outside the office, Britt loves expressing her creativity through tattoos and piercings and is always planning her next travel adventure. She enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people, and bringing that same open, approachable energy into patient care.

Whether it’s your first appointment in years or you simply need a little extra reassurance, Britt is known for making patients feel at ease—one conversation and one smile at a time.

Fun fact: If you ask her about her favorite travel destination or newest tattoo idea, you’ll probably make her day.

Nasira Sherman

Dental Assistant

Nasira, whose name means “helper,” is a proud Southern belle and a graduate of Delcastle Technical High School, where she earned honors as a member of the National Honor Society while training to become a Certified Dental Assistant.

She joined the Smile Brite family in 2024 as a co-op student and has continued to grow in her passion for patient care. Although she is early in her dental career, Nasira is committed to helping every patient feel supported, heard, and cared for. She believes that compassion and genuine connection are just as important as clinical care and strives to make each patient’s experience a positive one.

Outside of the office, Nasira enjoys listening to music and staying up to date on current events and pop culture. Her curiosity, thoughtful nature, and caring personality make her a wonderful

Danielle Morgan

Dental Assistant

Danielle joined the Smile Brite Dental Care team in 2021 as a co-op student during her junior year of high school. What began as an introduction to the dental field quickly developed into a passion for patient care and dentistry. As a recent graduate from Widener University with a degree in Biology, Danielle plans to continue pursuing a career in dentistry.

Over the years, she has been grateful for the opportunity to grow, learn, and develop both personally and professionally at Smile Brite Dental Care. Working alongside experienced dental professionals has strengthened her passion for helping others and providing quality patient care.

Silvia Cruz

Dental Assistant

Silvia is a recent graduate of Delcastle Technical High School’s Dental Assisting program. During her time at Delcastle, she was an Honor Roll student, a member of the National Honor Society, and completed over 30 hours of community service while developing a strong passion for patient care. Silvia joined Smile Brite in 2024 as a co-op student.

One of Silvia’s favorite parts of dentistry is working closely with patients and being part of a team that helps people achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Outside of the office, Silvia enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and going shopping.

Makella Stanley

Treatment Coordinator

Makella joined Smile Brite Dental Care in August 2023 as a Dental Assistant and quickly discovered that her passion for helping others made dentistry the perfect career path. Her interest in the dental field began long before high school, as she always had a passion for dentistry and patient care.

She further developed that passion at Howard High School of Technology, where she chose Dental Assisting as her area of study and found that caring for patients came naturally. Makella graduated from Howard High School of Technology in 2021 and has continued to build her knowledge and experience in the dental field ever since.

In 2026, Makella transitioned into the role of Treatment Plan Coordinator, working closely with Dr. Allen to help patients understand their treatment options and feel confident throughout their dental journey. She also continues to assist chairside when needed. Known for her friendly personality and ability to make patients feel comfortable, she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel at ease and often leave with a smile.

Outside of the office, Makella enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, boxing, and staying active through fitness. She is passionate about continuing her growth in the dental field and looks forward to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Saleema Coleman

Treatment Coordinator

Saleema has been working in the dental field for over 15 years and is one of our Treatment Plan Coordinators here at Smile Brite. She is passionate about helping patients understand their treatment options, insurance benefits, and financing opportunities.

With experience in dental assisting, insurance coordination, and office administration, she bridges the gap between clinical care and patient experience.

Taylor Bishop

Patient Coordinator

My name is Taylor, and I work as a Patient Coordinator at Smile Brite Dental Care, where I take pride in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient. My role involves greeting patients, communicating clearly, answering questions, and providing a compassionate, empathetic presence to help people feel comfortable during their visit.

I value kindness, effective communication, and continuous learning, and I am always looking for opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, drawing, and taking walks. These hobbies help me stay creative, curious, and balanced, allowing me to bring a positive attitude to both my personal life and my work.

Imani Harris

New Patient Coordinator

Imani is the friendly face and welcoming voice that helps make every patient’s first experience a positive one. As a New Patient Coordinator, she specializes in creating a seamless and stress-free onboarding process by scheduling appointments, assisting with new patient intake, and serving as the first point of contact for individuals joining the practice.

Passionate about patient care and communication, Imani takes pride in building genuine connections and ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and valued from their very first interaction. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service help create an open line of communication and make every initial appointment a breeze. Nothing makes her happier than helping patients feel confident and leave with a smile.

Outside of the office, Imani enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her daughter and family, discovering new restaurants, shopping, and embracing all things feminine and fun. Known for her bubbly personality, sense of humor, and multifaceted nature, she brings positive energy and authenticity to everything she does.
